Chief Geologist

WeConnect Energy are currently recruiting for a Chief Geologist for an international E&P Operator.

This is a senior role that will be accountable for the assurance, governance, leadership and corporate business support for the geology discipline. 

• Provide leadership for geological functional excellence in E&P projects across the business

• Responsible for leading technical expertise and providing direction on strategic decisions  

• Provide support and influence, as needed, to ensure the Subsurface teams deliver high quality, value-adding business opportunities  

• Assess the geoscientific technical capability and support the business to ensure the technical capability to meet business needs

• Provide support, as required, to M&A, Exploration and CCS requirements at the corporate centre
