Low Carbon Strategy Specialist

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a senior level Low Carbon Strategy opportunity for our client, an energy company in the UAE. 

Key responsibilities are:

• Support the development and implementation of strategic plans for low carbon initiatives, including CCS and hydrogen projects. 

• Develop actionable roadmaps that align with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. 

• Promote the adoption of innovative approaches and solutions to drive efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and achieve sustainability goals.

• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the low carbon sector. 

• Provide insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and prioritize investments.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and regulatory bodies. 

• Facilitate collaboration and negotiate partnerships to advance low carbon projects and initiatives.

Experience Required: 

• Strong exposure to the energy, preferably in Low Carbon and energy transition space 

• Management Consultancy background
