Accountant

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for an Accountant role on behalf of our client, an energy company in the UAE. 

Required Experience 

• ACA or CPA qualification is mandatory

• 7+ years of accounting experience within the O&G industry

• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of IFRS, including complex areas relevant to the energy sector (e.g. revenue recognition, JV, asset accounting, provisions)

• Experience supporting financial reporting, month-end close, statutory accounts and internal controls 

• Experience with SAP is preferred
