Geoscience Data Technologist

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Geoscience Data Technologist on behalf of our client, an E&P company, based in the UAE.

The is a contract role, based full-time in the Abu Dhabi office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and administrative support to the Geology & Geophysics staff. 
• Utilize database information and software tools to assemble and analyze data under the direction of the Geologist, Geophysicist, and Petrophysicist.
• Assist with data assembly, analysis, organization, and presentations. 
• Load seismic and well data. 
• Load directional survey data and cultural data. 
• Gather and post activity (seismic, drilling, completion, etc).
• Periodic interaction with software vendors, logging companies and seismic processors. 
• Interaction with drilling, engineering, and land personnel is also expected.
