Legal Counsel, Technology

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel role focused on Technology on behalf of our client, an energy company in the UAE. 

Required Experience 

• 5 years of Post Qualification Experience in transactional work in a reputable international law firm and/or in-house legal department, preferably within the energy or technology industry. 

• Strong background and expertise in intellectual property (IP) law and practice, emerging technologies, technology licensing, IP commercialisation and strategies, general corporate-commercial law and practice, contracting, data protection and risk advisory, innovation strategy, and business strategy and advisory. 

• Knowledge of applicable legislations and regulations. 

• Knowledge of business and international best practices.
