JOB SUMMARY  
A specialist engineering and technical services provider supporting the energy sector, with a strong focus on upstream oil and gas operations. The company delivers advanced subsurface and production solutions, partnering with operators to optimise reservoir performance and maximise hydrocarbon recovery. The Reservoir Senior Engineer is responsible for leading reservoir studies and supporting field development planning to optimize hydrocarbon recovery. This role plays a key part in building, calibrating, and analyzing reservoir simulation models to inform strategic decisions. Working closely with geoscience, production, and drilling teams, the position ensures integrated subsurface evaluations and robust development plans. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a data-driven approach to reservoir 
management. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Build, calibrate, and maintain dynamic reservoir simulation models 
• Perform history matching and uncertainty analysis to improve model reliability 
• Conduct reservoir performance forecasting and development optimization studies 
• Support field development planning, including well placement and production strategies 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data 
• Evaluate reservoir management strategies and recommend optimization initiatives 
• Analyze production and pressure data to monitor reservoir performance 
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders 

QUALIFICATIONS  
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering 
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in reservoir engineering, including simulation and field development planning 
• Strong background in upstream oil and gas projects 

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS 

Essential 
• Expertise in reservoir simulation and dynamic modelling 
• Strong experience in history matching and uncertainty analysis 
• Proven ability to conduct reservoir performance forecasting and optimization 
• Solid understanding of reservoir engineering principles and fluid flow behavior 
• Experience integrating multidisciplinary data into reservoir models 
• Proficiency in industry-standard reservoir simulation software 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Preferred 
• Experience with Middle East or carbonate reservoirs 
• Familiarity with compositional and thermal simulation models 
• Exposure to EOR-related reservoir studies 
• Experience working in consulting or operator environments
