He has extensive expertise in managing both conventional and unconventional assets across global regions such as the Middle East, Australia, Southeast Asia, and China, with a focus on onshore and offshore oil and gas operations.

Richard’s key strengths lie in Subsurface Management, Asset Development, Technical Leadership, and Strategic Advisory. Notably, he has successfully overseen subsurface operations for significant assets like the Atrush PSC in Iraq and led major development projects, excelling in production optimisation and reservoir management.

Through his consultancy work at Delta Energy, Richard has provided strategic technical and commercial advice to operators and non-operators across Australia and Asia. He is now focusing on part-time consultancy, leveraging his extensive experience to take on new challenges in the energy sector.

Chris Burnside is a seasoned energy industry professional with 35 years of experience spanning technical, project management, and leadership roles across exploration, development, and late-life operations. His career has taken him to key energy regions including the North Sea, North Africa, West Africa, Australia, and Eastern Europe. Chris has been involved in several major capital projects and high-profile E&P ventures, focusing on managing subsurface uncertainties and integrating them with development and commercial strategies.

With a diverse engineering background, Chris has worked on offshore heavy-oil, light-oil, condensate, high-rate gas, mature onshore production, and unconventional resources. His expertise covers the full lifecycle of projects, from exploration through to late-stage operations, ensuring that technical, operational, and commercial risks are well managed.

Nico Brunsmann is a highly experienced energy industry professional with over 30 years of expertise, having held senior leadership roles in major global companies. His career includes positions such as Managing Director at MOL Energy UK, Senior Vice President of Subsurface & Field Development at MOL Group, and Vice President of Resource Renewal at Talisman Sinopec Energy UK. Nico has also held various managerial and advisory roles, demonstrating his extensive industry knowledge and leadership.

With over 17 years in executive roles, including VP, SVP, and Managing Director, Nico has worked across both offshore and onshore environments in Europe, North America, and the Middle and Far East. His broad expertise spans leadership, strategic development, and technical proficiency, making him a versatile and dynamic leader in the energy sector.

Graham's career spans over 39 years, initially working for organisations such as Enterprise Oil, Shell, PDO, and BP - before assuming the role of Chief Petrophysicist for CNR International, Premier Oil and Harbour Energy.

Graham has extensive experience working in diverse basins such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, the Falkland Islands, UKCS, and Norway.

Now an Advisor, Graham specialises in technical excellence and assurance to subsurface models and evaluations - with a focus on Petrophysics. He provides integrated subsurface project reviews and audits to E&P companies, offering technical advice and strategic guidance to technical staff and leadership.

Exploration Advisor - Geoscientist, Strategist

Ed brings over 38 years of global exploration geoscience experience, spanning technical, management, and leadership roles.

Beginning his career in 1985 with Carless Exploration in UK basins, he joined Cairn Energy in 1989, where his technical expertise contributed to major discoveries like the Sangu Gas Field in Bangladesh and Mangala in Rajasthan. At Bowleven from 2007, he oversaw key discoveries offshore Cameroon and expanded operations into East Africa.

Since 2017, Ed has provided independent advisory services, with recent projects in the Guyana-Suriname basin, including advising Staatsolie on successful bid rounds. Ed specialises in technical oversight, strategy, and team leadership.
