Project Director

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Project Director on behalf of our client, an E&P Operator based in South-East Asia.

This role is a Permanent position, based full time in the clients office.

Key Responsibilities

⦁ The role will be responsible for the delivery and execution of all projects as assigned, through pre-development, development phase and subsequent handover and close-out.

⦁ This is a senior position for an individual who has extensive experience from front-end development through to project execution and operations in an onshore/offshore environment.

⦁ The Project Director will ensure that the project plans and budgets are delivered in line with the latest forecast, and in accordance with effective project management practices.

⦁ Internal relationship management, resource identification and effective project team leadership are significant components of the role. The Project Director is accountable for ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with company, industry and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

⦁ Delivery of the projects as assigned in compliance with HSE, Budget and Schedule (latest forecast) and Quality.

⦁ Deliver the performance contract for the project based on latest forecast

⦁ Deliver effective Leadership to the project team, stakeholders and inter-department.

⦁ Manage all competent resources to provide the successful delivery of the project.  

⦁ Provide leadership for collaborative working across the functions to ensure integration of the project with all relevant teams.

⦁ Assist and lead where necessary in any JV Partner relationships.

⦁ Participate and organise Peer Reviews as required.

⦁ Develop and maintain an effective network with third party and package suppliers.
